Dr. Andrea Linett completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Ryerson University, where she also earned her Master’s degree. She completed her predoctoral internship within the London Clinical Psychology Residency Consortium, where she provided assessment and treatment to adolescents and adults with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and emotion regulation difficulties. Dr. Linett received additional training in diverse settings, including St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic), Toronto General Hospital (Eating Disorder Program), and Markham Stouffville Hospital (Outpatient Mental Health Services).
At B&C Health, Dr. Linett provides assessment and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to adults and adolescents with a variety of presenting problems, including depression, anxiety, insomnia, trauma, eating disorders, stress-related conditions, and chronic health concerns. She is also trained in the provision of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
In addition to her work at B&C Health, Dr. Linett is a staff psychologist at Altum Health, a division of the University Health Network (UHN). In this capacity, she provides assessment and therapy services to individuals who have experienced work-related injuries.
Dr. Linett’s distinctions include Masters and Doctoral Research Awards from the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), and Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS).
