Dr. Dunlap has a PhD from the University of Toronto, and is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Much of her advanced clinical training took place at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), where she subsequently worked for over 10 years. Her positions included Clinic Head of the Work Stress and Health program, as well as cross appointments as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, and Lecturer, Graduate Department of Psychological Clinical Science University of Toronto, Scarborough. She currently provides treatment for mood, anxiety, trauma and substance use difficulties at Bellwood Health Services.
Dr. Dunlap’s clinical expertise and interests include assessment, treatment, consultation and training. She has performed numerous assessments related to psychological injury and occupational trauma, and provided consultation and training to a range of organizations on mental health and occupational disability. She has significant experience providing individual and group treatment in both outpatient and inpatient settings, and working with mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and stressor related disorders. She works from a strengths-based approach, and her training and theoretical orientation are in evidence based therapies including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
