Jessica Dalley (M.A.) is currently finishing her doctoral degree in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology program at the University of Guelph, where she also received her Master’s degree. She completed her predoctoral residency at McMaster Children’s Hospital of Hamilton Health Sciences, where she provided assessment, treatment, and consultation to children, adolescents and families presenting with a range of mental health difficulties. She has also trained at the Waterloo Region District School Board, the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, the Child Advocacy and Assessment Program at McMaster Children’s Hospital, and the Centre for Psychological Services at the University of Guelph.
Jessica has worked with children, adolescents, and families to complete comprehensive assessments regarding the client’s cognitive, learning, behavioral, and social-emotional difficulties. Additionally, Jessica is trained to provide evidence-based treatment using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
At B&C Health, Jessica provides diagnostic assessment and treatment services to children and adolescents experiencing a variety of difficulties, including ADHD, Autism, anxiety, selective mutism, obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma, depression, and parent-child conflict. In her clinical work, Jessica aims to take an encouraging and collaborative approach that builds on the existing strengths within youth and their caregivers, including empowering parents to better understand and support their youth through emotional and behavioural challenges.
